A family-run business has lost around £1m of stock following a huge fire. Firefighters were called to JR Pet Productions Ltd in Church Bank, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, at 6.44am on Sunday, September 18.
Locals reported hearing an "explosion" noise shortly before flames and smoke were seen high above the town. It came during the town's sheep festival. The event went ahead as planned but the sheep dog trials were cancelled.
The two storage warehouses ablaze continued to smoulder into Tuesday evening. The cause of the fire is under investigation and yet to be determined.
