Taking to social media to share the news, Arriva confirmed the services 12 and 13 would be running as usual from Queens Square. Responding to concerns over congestion and the potential increase with Eurovision, Arriva wrote: "We're in constant talks with Merseytravel and local authorities on concerning congestion levels in the city and are working to find a resolution.
"There are some 5-10 minute delays on the 12/13 services right now so please allow extra time for your journey."
Earlier today, the service 54 route was temporarily suspended due to an ongoing event, but has since resumed. Arriva North West Tweeted about the potential disruption: "Services in the Liverpool City Centre and surrounding areas are currently subject to possible delays and short-notice cancellations due to increased congestion and a technical fault with some traffic light junctions.
