A driver has been praised for kicking a passenger off his bus after hearing a vile slur. Footage appears to show the driver shepherding a passenger off a Rosso single-decker in Rochdale bus station.
In the TikTok clip, viewed nearly three million times, the driver confronts the man who allegedly called a disabled passenger a "r****d'. The transport worker can be heard telling other staff members about the derogatory term used to describe people with a disability.
A caption on the video also said ‘respect to the driver [for] defending disabled passenger’. Other TikTok users have praised the driver, with Nolan Vickers adding: “Total respect to the driver… and if his bosses are watching… the man deserves a pay rise.”
