Burnley injury news and predicted line-up for Premier League clash vs Manchester United

Burnley are set to be without three senior players for their Premier League fixture against Manchester United - but Sean Dyche could still name an unchanged starting XI.

Having won once all season, the Clarets are rooted to the foot of the table amid the ongoing relegation battle with Newcastle, Watford and Norwich City.

They drew 0-0 with the Hornets upon their return to Premier League duty on Saturday afternoon.

Charlie Taylor (foot), Johann Gudmundsson (illness) and Matej Vydra (hernia) were missing against Watford as their manager Dyche ruled them out, once again, for tonight's meeting with United at Turf Moor (8pm).

Burnley striker Ashley Barnes has made progress from his issue, though, and could come into contention.

January signing Wout Weghorst was handed his debut by Dyche last time out as he partnered Maxwel Cornet.

Aside from that three-pronged dilemma in attacking quarters, the other main question for the Burnley manager to answer is whether or not to recall Matt Lowton at right-back amid competition from Connor Roberts - who started the draw vs Watford.

During his latest pre-match press conference, Dyche said: "We are actively looking at the group and seeing how we can change things and mould things slightly differently to give it an edge or feel, that is the point of having a squad.

"We can all pick a team, put in on paper and work with it in training, but finding those connections in a performance sometimes works quickly and sometimes takes a bit of work."

Burnley predicted line-up (4-4-2): Pope; Roberts, Tarkowski, Mee, Pieters; Lennon, Westwood, Stephens, McNeil; Weghorst, Cornet.
