A political dispute has been ignited during Andy Burnham’s initial official visit to Northern Ireland as Prime Minister, after he declared that an Irish border poll is "off the table".
Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald reacted strongly, arguing that no prime minister has any right to "high-handedly" erase the Good Friday Agreement's provision for a future unity referendum.
