Burnham criticises Government over ‘dividing lines’ in blood scandal payouts

Andy Burnham has criticised the Government for “drawing new dividing lines between people” over compensation for the infected blood scandal.

A memorial service for those affected by the scandal was held at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Tuesday, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and former prime minister Theresa May in attendance.
