A town centre burger restaurant will be giving away free food on Christmas Day to their "extended family" in the community.
Good Burgers, in Earlestown, is offering free food to anyone in need from 1pm to 3pm on Christmas Day. Owners Abdul Rouf and Mohammed Miah said this is because the community comes under "family and friends."
Abdul, who also owns Amans Indian restaurant on Newton High Street, opened the shop with Mo in October in the hopes of "bringing something new" to Earlestown.

Abdul told the ECHO: "We want to help anyone that's struggling this Christmas, or homeless so we're going to open up for a few hours to feed them.
"Next year the plan is to give out some presents to the community but it would be useful this year for us to get a good idea of age groups so we can buy them accordingly, whether its for older people or younger. We have customers from all over Newton-le-Willows, St Helens, Ashton-in-Makerfield."
In a Facebook post, Mo and Abdul said: "This Christmas Day we were planning on staying closed and spending the day with our family and friends. Until we realised that this community falls under ‘Family and Friends’ too.
"It has been a tough few months with the whole cost of living crisis and maybe other issues that we have to face as individuals or even together.
"This Christmas Day we want to give back to the community that has given us so much over the years. We will be giving away food for free. That’s right, no questions asked.
"If you’re struggling, in need of a good laugh or just wanna enjoy a burger in our establishment on Christmas Day. Just pop in. We’ll have the Christmas songs blazing and big smiles all round."
