In celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III, Burger King has revealed a two-for-one coronation burger deal that will have you dining like royalty this bank holiday weekend.
Burger King has announced a very tasty buy-one-get-one-free offer on its Chicken and Vegan Royales, which you can claim for a limited time only at your local branch, or via the official Burger King app.
This budget-friendly offer will be available across the UK over the course of the upcoming coronation weekend - May 6 to 8 - subject to availability.
You can even tuck into your grub looking like a monarch should you so wish, as the fast food giant has also now unveiled limited-edition coronation crowns to mark the historic occasion.
These crowns will be freely available across Burger King restaurants nationwide from May 3, as well as at celebratory parades held in London and Windsor.
Royal fans are urged to be quick if they want to get their hands on this limited edition souvenir, however, as once they're gone, they're gone.
According to a statement issued by Burger King: "True to its name, the Royale is fit for royalty, and consists of tasty chicken wrapped in a special crisp coating, topped with iceberg lettuce, creamy mayo and crowned with a toasted sesame seed bun.
"Equally delicious, the Vegan Royale is also on offer and boasts a crispy vegan patty, complete with iceberg lettuce and vegan mayo, served in the signature sesame seed bun.
"As a bonus treat, burger lovers can 'Crown It' and add extra bacon and cheese onto any meal for just £1 when ordering in restaurants."
This comes after King Charles was humorously offered a paper Burger King crown while on a walkabout at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, during the first official engagement of the new monarch's state visit to Germany.
A number of well-wishers wearing Burger King crowns greeted the King, with one man removing his and offering it to him, stating, "This is for you, if you want it". Appearing amused, Charles smiled and declined the gift, replying, "I'm alright!"
The King then went on to politely turn down another crown presented to him by a woman in the crowd, who informed him, "I have a present for you".
This wasn't the only time the new King and Queen have had Burger King fans offering them gifts. During a walkabout in Colchester, Essex, back in March, Queen Camilla could be seen laughing after a mischievous teen handed her a Burger King crown as a "last-minute gift".
The Queen smiled, and laughed, "Oh, lovely, that's very kind of you. Burger King", before carrying on down the line of well-wishers, new crown in hand.
