Burger King to open branch in Dumfries and Galloway

Burger King is to open a new fast food restaurant in Gretna creating up to 30 jobs.

The Glasgow Road outlet is looking for new workers including a restaurant manager, senior assistant manager and two assistant bosses.

Successful candidates will enjoy a variety of staff perks from flexible hours and free meals at work, plus 50 per cent discount off food and drink for friends and family.

Jeremy Wright, people director of Burger King UK, said: “We are delighted to be creating new job and career opportunities in the area, and look forward to welcoming 30 new starters into the Burger King family, at our new Gretna restaurant.

“We continue to be bold and ambitious in our growth plans across both locations and job opportunities.”
