Burger King fans are in for a treat as the fast-food giant has shared some ways for customers to save money on their food.
The burger chain says there are several ways you can get cheap deals on meals and snacks in the run-up to Christmas, including a secret receipt trick to get free Whoppers, a way to score free cheese bites and fries for just 99p. Firstly, customers can get themselves six free Chilli Cheese Bites until January 1, if they sign up for the ‘YourBurgerKing’ loyalty programme.
Once signed up, you’ll automatically be rewarded 200 points - which is enough to claim a portion of six bites (150 points) without spending a penny. And after a visit to Burger King, you can also get your hands on a free flame-grilled Whopper as long as you keep your receipt.

All you need to do is visit the feedback link on the bottom of the receipt, fill in the form online and then present the code you are given during your next trip to get a free burger, reports The Mirror. In addition, those who have the Burger King app on their phone are also able to get a portion of regular fries for only 99p every day of the week, saving an average of £1.20 each time.
Other deals available include a free burger for students if they spend £4 with Student Beans any day of the week (you need to show ID when you order) and those with the BK app can also save £1 on a portion of 20 chicken or vegan nuggets, getting them for £3.99 instead of £4.99.
