Fast-food chain Burger King has announced that they are giving away free vegan Royales to Scots app users for today only.
Chicken Royales have become one of the chains signature burgers since being launched back in the late 80s, before being giving a meat-free twist early last year.
Developed by the Vegetarian Butcher, the Vegan Royale consists of crispy coated, plant-based chicken that is topped with iceberg lettuce, creamy vegan mayo and crowned with a trademark golden bun, sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.
Burger King has launched the exclusive giveaway to celebrate the opening of their very first meat-free restaurant in the UK, based in Leicester Square.
The brand new restaurant is the first of its kind for the chain and will trial a ground-breaking new plant-based and vegan menu for one month.
Items on the menu will include plant-based alternatives such as a ‘cheeeze & bakon’ burger to a ‘nugget’ burger.
Burger fans looking to take advantage of the tasty offer by downloading the Burger King UK app via Google Play or the App Store.
The offer is only available on the single Vegan Royale Sandwich and no minimum spend is required to access the deal .
