The Chicago Bulls got a crunch time victory on Monday night against the Utah Jazz, 114-107.
A huge part to Chicago’s win was Coby White’s scoring off the bench, who finished with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from 3-point range in 23 minutes, which included a clutch hit from downtown with just over one minute remaining in the game.
After the victory, White spoke with the media on his performance and finding his groove following his quad injury.
“When I was able to come back and shoot, I got up a ton of shots,” White said. “Just trusting my work and my teammates trusted me, also. I’m glad they are willing to trust me at the end of games.”
White’s 3-pointer with 1:10 remaining put Chicago up 113-104, essentially hitting the dagger to clinch the game for the Bulls.

“I thought Coby played well,” Donovan said postgame. “We needed another shooter out there. I give him a lot of credit for keeping himself ready with all he went through.”
So far this season, White is averaging 8.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game on 40.9% shooting from the field and 34.5% from 3-point range.
