The Chicago Bulls are off to a 9-11 start to the 2022-23 regular season, coming off a 114-107 victory on Monday over the Utah Jazz, winning their third game in the last four contests.
ESPN’s NBA experts update their NBA Power Rankings every week, which landed the Bulls at No. 23 for Week 7, remaining in the same spot as the prior two weeks.
Jamal Collier explains:
The Bulls have won three of their last four games, including victories over the Celtics, Bucks and Jazz to help stabilize an already rocky season. Chicago went 1-10 against the top three seeds in the East last year, so now already owning victories over Milwaukee, Miami and Boston (twice) this season could go a long way in proving that this year’s team is different.
Though remaining at No. 23 in ESPN’s rankings, the Bulls have racked up some impressive victories as of late as Collier noted. Now, if Chicago can put together any kind of consistency on a night-to-night basis, they can make a name for themselves in the East playoff hunt.
