The Chicago Bulls are off to a 6-6 start to the 2022-23 regular season, fresh off an impressive 111-97 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday, led by Zach LaVine’s season-high 30-point performance.
ESPN’s NBA experts update their NBA Power Rankings every week, which landed the Bulls at No. 16 for Week 4, jumping four spots from last week’s rankings.
Jamal Collier explains:
Zach LaVine posted his first 30-point game since April 2 on Monday night as he continues to grow more comfortable playing on his surgically repaired left knee. The Bulls have been managing LaVine’s workload on back-to-backs, but the good news for Chicago is that the team doesn’t have another back-to-back until Dec. 10.
As Collier noted, LaVine is seemingly starting to find his groove after missing a number of games this season due to left knee injury management. The Bulls take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday before having three days off before the Denver Nuggets come to town.
