A construction firm linked to NEET paper leak accused P V Kulkarni removed an unauthorised basement and RCC pillar structure from an under-construction project in Beed on Monday, just before the local civic body was set to take action. The move came after repeated notices from the Beed Municipal Council over alleged violations of planning rules, a TOI report stated.
The municipal council had warned the developers that the illegal portion of the project would be demolished if corrective steps were not taken within the prescribed period. Before officials could begin the process, the builders reportedly carried out the demolition themselves using a bulldozer.
