Carrier stuck near major port after failed rescue bids

Two attempts to refloat a bulk carrier grounded off a major east coast port have failed.

The Liberian-registered Cape Falcon ran aground while attempting to anchor off Queensland's Port of Gladstone about 3.30pm on Friday.
