Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been rushed to A&E after suffering a 'cardiac incident'.
The actor, 51, is best known for his role as Xander Harris in the hit 1990s drama.
Nicholas was rushed to A&E for treatment after suffering a cardiac incident, his sister revealed on social media.
The actor, who appeared in all but one of the 145 episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, was admitted to A&E following a health scare two weeks ago.
Nicholas' sister took over his social media accounts to let the actor's fans know what had happened to the star as she shared a number of concerning image of the Buffy star laying in a hospital bed.
The Instagram account also posted a worrying image of Nicholas being carried on a stretcher before his A&E dash.
"Nicky sends his love and wanted me to apologise that he hasn't been going live as much lately and to give everyone an update," the actor's sister wrote to his Instagram fans.
"Nicky is doing fine now but he had to be rushed to emergency two weeks ago because of a cardiac incident (tachycardia/arrhythmia).
"Some of you might remember he had a similar incident after his second spinal surgery last year (for Cauda Equina).
"This time he is trying to get a little more rest and has been concentrating on medical appointments."
The rare stenosis causes the nerves in the lower back to become severely compressed, and causes numbness in the lower body.
Nicholas rose to fame as Xander in Buffy The Vampire Slayer in 1997.
He appeared on all but one of the episodes until 2003, and after that, he went on to appear in Criminal Minds until 2007.
Since then, the actor has been working on his own films.
