Buddies are being given a chance to show off their artistic potential in classes being held at Paisley's Wynd Centre.
The weekly sessions take place on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.
Iain Richardson, who runs the classes, said: “I have been doing community arts in paisley for a long while now - about 20 years. The classes will be teaching the basics and are open to beginners and also folk that have been doing it for a wee while and gives them the chance to improve.

“It is a sessional class where you get to learn all the basics of drawing and painting such as using royal paints, watercolours and acrylic paint. We are hopefully looking to have an exhibition of the work at some point.”
Iain also did community arts with local care providers including Alzheimer Scotland, Renfrewshire Stroke and Disability Art therapy group, Capability Scotland and local art groups.
All basic materials will be provided for those who wish to attend the classes.
The classes will also give those who are just starting their artistic careers a one-on-one approach to ensure they can truly find their hidden talent.
Iain added: “You don’t have to have any great experience. You are welcome to join if you are starting from scratch and you are wanting to learn the basics. That is what we are here for.”
A class session costs £10 and if interested in the classes, you can find information to contact Richard here: www.facebook.com/whitecartstudio
