A “generous and fun-loving” paramedic died from a drugs overdose after failing to cope with the death of her son.
Vicky Morewood, 52, had been in the ambulance service for 25 years and was a popular singer and musician on the local folk scene.
She was being treated for a number of health issues, including sleeping problems, a heart problem and endometriosis . She also suffered from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression.
