BTS star j-Hope teases next collaboration with Pharrell Williams: 'Can't wait for 2025'

BTS member j-Hope has sparked rumours of an upcoming collaboration with Pharrell Williams after posting a photo with the artist on Instagram.

Pharrell, currently in South Korea as Louis Vuitton’s men's creative director, posed alongside j-Hope for a couple of selfies, which was captioned, "P & j. Can't wait for 2025."

This led fans to speculate that the two might be working on a project together, possibly for release in 2025. Pharrell's history of working with K-pop stars, including a previous collaboration with BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, has only heightened anticipation for the potential partnership. However, it is still unclear if it will be for a musical collab or a fashion collab for the designer label.

However, Pharrell's recent studio sessions with G-Dragon and CL, further fuelling excitement for the possibility of new music.

BTS leader RM added to the speculation by commenting, "Next year please come faster," on j-Hope’s post, leading fans to wonder if more BTS members or even the entire group might be involved in the collaboration.

Currently, j-Hope is serving his mandatory military duty and is set to be discharged in October 2024. He recently made a comeback with his album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1' in March 2024, featuring collaborations with various artists.

Meanwhile, BTS members are nearing the halfway point of their military service, with a reunion scheduled for June 2025.
