BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey releases statement as huge decision confirmed

BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey is leaving the broadcaster after fronting its coverage of Premier League and Champions League matches.

Humphrey, who has been with BT since 2013, has released a statement on social media confirming his decision to leave the organisation. The 44 year-old joined BT for the 2013-14 season having previously been with BBC Sport, initially starting his career with BBC Radio Five Live in 2005 as a match reporter.

Humphrey also hosted Football Focus before moving on to BT, where he fronted Premier League and Champions League matches to begin with before Gary Lineker's arrival. When Lineker left a couple of years ago, Humphrey then returned to hosting European games, with Lynsey Hipgrave also taking duties for Premier League matches.
