BSE shares are set to replace Wipro on its peer NSE's benchmark index Nifty 50, with Nuvama estimating inflows worth $695 million for the shares of Asia's oldest stock exchange.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday announced the rejig of its indices, with BSE shares replacing IT major Wipro on its benchmark index from September 30 onwards, along with several changes to its other indices as well. According to Nuvama Institutional Equities, BSE will see inflows worth $695 million as a result of its inclusion in the Nifty 50 index, while Wipro will see outflows worth $240 million.
