Shares of BSE, Groww, Angel One, Motilal Oswal and other broking companies will remain in focus on Tuesday after the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) proposed changes to the Closing Auction Session (CAS), market timings and the settlement methodology for derivatives contracts. The regulator has proposed two alternatives for determining expiry-day settlement prices for index and single-stock derivatives.
Blended VWAP - Under the first option, the settlement price for both index and stock derivatives would be based on trades executed during the last 30 minutes of CTS and 10 minutes of CAS. SEBI has termed this the "Blended VWAP".
