MADIKERI: A 20-year-old college student was found hanging at her hometown in Chettalli, Kodagu, on Wednesday.
AD Punya was a BSc student with a private college in Bengaluru. She was attending online classes from her house in Chettalli since 20 days.
On Wednesday, she was alone at home since her parents -- Ayandra Devi Prasad, a coffee planter, and Nuthan, a teacher -- left for Madikeri on work. When they returned, the house was locked and they had to enter through the back door.
Police registered a case and are trying to ascertain the reason for Punya taking the extreme step.
