Aaron Paul has revealed he has asked Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston to be the godfather of his new child.
Aaron, 42, and wife Lauren Parsekian, 35, have revealed they welcomed their new baby boy to the world last month, calling him Ryden Caspian Paul.
He is the couple's second child, with them already sharing four-year-old daughter Story.
Aaron told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon how Story is loving being a big sister. He said: "She's madly in love with him, can’t squeeze him enough. Like lays on top of him, suffocates him. It's her doll."
And he also revealed Bryan, 66, to be the family's newest member's godfather.
He continued: "He [Bryan] has met the baby. I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather."
Aaron then joked how Bryan turned down the offer, but quickly admitted to how Bryan actually felt about the question.
He added: "He’s very excited, very honoured. I love the man to death he is one of my best friends in the world and it’s a no brainer.”
Aaron first revealed in December that wife Lauren was pregnant with their second child.
In a sweet snap of her with little Story touching her mum's tummy, he wrote: "Love you so much already little one. Can’t wait to meet you number 2."
On Wednesday, Aaron shared an image of Ryden from the day he was born.
He captioned the pic: "My little man. Ryden Caspian Paul. So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you.
"I promise to make you proud little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it’s time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly."
Followers were quick to send well wishes in the comments section.
Among those leaving a note was actor Jamie Dornan who simply wrote: "Yes!!" followed by a number of love heart emojis.
Actress Odette Annable commented: "Oh so beautiful! So many congrats to you and your fam!!"
And wife Lauren gushed: "I love you sooooooo much baby daddy," followed by a string of love hearts.
Mark Ryden also shared a number of heart emojis as Lauren confirmed the artist inspired the couple's choice of name for the tot.
In her own Instagram post she wrote: "Ryden Caspian Paul.
"We've spent the last month getting acquainted with this little guy and we couldn't be more in love. Born on a full moon, he has such a gentle and knowing spirit. I'm so deeply thankful that he chose us to be a part of his journey.
"Name inspired by our favorite artist, @markryden"
