A bullying boyfriend punched his pregnant partner in the stomach and told her "nobody is going to come between us."
Armanj Kurdo, 24, of Wellington Street in Leeds had broken up with the woman in 2020, but went to her home in April the following year and attacked her.
The woman was around 20 weeks pregnant, prosecutor Andrew Nixon told Leeds Crown Court on Friday, and had described her year-long relationship with Kurdo as "turbulent," with previous assaults having taken place.
