Brutal NFL combine replay shows a poor guy taking a beating while holding bags for linemen

There are a lot of understated but very important jobs at the annual NFL combine. A lot of what these prospects accomplish on the 40-yard dash, the vertical, and the bench press is likely never possible without the people doing the hard work behind the scenes. And sometimes, they might not be appreciated enough for their efforts.

Take this poor guy holding massive bags for linemen prospects at the 2024 combine on Thursday. It’s his job to hold the bag steady as the different players use their power to club it during a drill.

And as an unfortunate replay shows, he was taking an absolute beating to the face on a few occasions:

I don’t care who you are. No one is having a worse day at work than this guy.
