Newcastle United's Bruno Guimaraes is into the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup after Brazil's dominant 4-1 victory over South Korea - but the Magpies star had to watch the entire game from the bench.

Bruno was an unused substiture as Tite's side marched into the quarter-finals, where they will face Croatia. Bruno joins United team-mates Callum Wilson, Kieran Trippier and Nick Pope in the last eight, with Fabian Schar and Switzerland hoping to join them when they face Portugal on Tuesday.
