Bruno Guimaraes and girlfriend Ana Lidia Martins were joined by friends and family including Bruno's Newcastle United team mate Joelinton as they revealed the gender of their first baby together.
After United 's fine run of form came to an end with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Premier League title contenders Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, Brazilian midfielder and goal wizard Bruno picked himself up to join Ana at a lavish party when they let the cat out of the bag about the sex of the child Ana is carrying. Gender reveal parties are all the rage now as expectant couples pick an array of different ways to reveal all. Surprises include coloured balloons, confetti or icing inside a cake and it was blue confetti and smoke that filled the air as Bruno and Ana shared the news they're expecting a son with a crowd of their nearest and dearest.
The colour scheme for the party was all neutral colours, with whites, gold and greens adoring the outdoor set up, including a host of stunning dining tables, before Bruno and Ana's secret was out, with the couple also confirming the name they've already chosen for their son - Matteo. Both Ana and Bruno shared a whole host of pictures and videos from the day on their Instagram, as well as posting snap shots taken by their guests, including Joelinton's girlfriend Thays Gondim.
