Here are your Wednesday morning Manchester United headlines.
Fernandes objective
Bruno Fernandes admits the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award is a 'special trophy' but the Manchester United midfielder is more concerned with fulfilling on-pitch objectives.
A two-time winner of the award, Fernandes is among the favourites to win the voting again this season and become just the third player to do so three times, with Cristiano Ronaldo and David De Gea each earning the trophy on four occasions. Top goalscorer Marcus Rashford is also in contention, with his 29 goals almost three times anyone else at the club.

United still have four games left of the season, however, and Erik ten Hag's side have plenty left to achieve between now and June. The Reds will likely need to win two of their final three Premier League games to secure a top-four finish before meeting Manchester City at Wembley for an FA Cup final on June 3.
And while Fernandes is hoping to be crowned Player of the Year for a third season. the Portuguese international maintains that finishing the season strongly is his main focus.

Galbraith departure confirmed
Midfielder Ethan Galbraith has announced his departure from Manchester United.
The Northern Ireland international, who has spent this season on loan at nearby League Two side Salford City, will officially leave the club when his contract expires at the end of next month. The Manchester Evening News revealed on Monday that the youngster is one of five players who are set to be released at the end of this season.
Galbraith, 22, joined United's academy from Linfield in 2017 and he signed his first professional contract with the club the following year. He made his senior debut for the Reds in November 2019, stepping off the bench as a late substitute in a 2-1 Europa League defeat to FC Astana.
That marked his one and only appearance at senior level for United and he has spent each of the last two seasons out on loan, spending the 2021/22 campaign with Doncaster Rovers in League One and this season with Salford. He has made a total of 38 appearances for the Ammies this season, scoring four goals.
