Bruno Fernandes commented on an Instagram post by Amad after Manchester United started their summer tour in style with a 4-0 victory over Liverpool in a memorable pre-season opener.
Getting down to business in Bangkok on Tuesday afternoon, United were convincing winners against their Liverpool as Erik ten Hag celebrated a stunning victory during his first game. Jadon Sancho, Fred, Anthony Martial and substitute Facundo Pellistri were on target.
Of course, the 4-0 win will not give United an advantage in their Premier League charge, but the manner of their performance was enough to enthuse supporters and their newly-appointed manager. Ten Hag and his squad move onto Australia next before completing their pre-season tour in Norway.

United were captained by Fernandes in the absence of Harry Maguire as Ten Hag named an experienced starting line-up before turning to youth when the game was essentially up at half-time. Amad was among those summoned from the bench after his testing loan spell north of the border last season.
Rangers moved for the Ivorian - who signed for United from Italian side Atalanta - during the January window and he made 13 appearances for the club with three goals. He was an unused substitute for the Scottish giants during a Europa League final defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt and did not start as much as he might have anticipated.
However, with Ten Hag at the helm, Amad and several other promising youngsters have a clean slate. Following his cameo from the bench, Amad uploaded several pictures on Instagram and his post was followed up by Fernandes commenting: "bravo piccolo".
Piccolo in Italian means small, little or young, all of which apply to the 20-year-old, 5ft 6in winger.
