Bruno Fernandes has set his sights on stocking up Manchester United's trophy cabinet after signing a new long-term contract at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at Old Trafford, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2026. The deal also includes the option of an additional year.
Since joining United in January 2020, Fernandes has gone from strength-to-strength, proving himself one of the club's best signings in recent times. He has netted 49 goals in 117 games in all competitions, as well as registering 39 assists.

Although he has not been at the very top of his game this season, Fernandes — who joined the club from Sporting Lisbon — has still racked up 23 direct goal contributions this season. He has scored nine goals and grabbed 14 assists in 37 appearances.
Now that he has committed his future to the club, the Portuguese star has one main ambition. Working in tandem with the supporters, he wants to add silverware to United's honours list.
Speaking on his Instagram page, Fernandes said: "Hi guys, I am really happy to announce that I will be here longer with you. I am really happy for this moment and I hope that we, together, can bring the trophies again back to our home, where they belong."
On tying Fernandes down to a new deal, United football director John Murtough said: "Everyone is well aware of Bruno's importance to Manchester United. His goals and assists record is phenomenal and he has performed remarkably consistently since he joined the club.
"Bruno’s work-rate, dedication and fantastic attitude are exactly what we want from a Manchester United player. He is the ultimate professional with many fantastic attributes to drive the high standards required to play for this great club.
"Bruno, like everyone across the football club, remains hugely ambitious and determined to deliver sustained success on the pitch to get us back to challenging for titles."
