Bruno Fernandes admits Manchester United fans were within their right to chant 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' as their side were humiliated 4-0 by Brighton in the Premier League.
Ralf Rangnick's side were torn apart by their opponents on Saturday evening in a dire defeat which finally ended any hopes of qualifying for the Champions League this season.
Moises Caicedo gave Brighton the lead at half-time before they struck thrice more after the break. Within minutes of the restart, Marc Cucurella netted to double their lead before Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard both grabbed goals of their own to further emphasis the gulf in quality on the day.

United supporters inside the stadium berated their side in the second-half with a chorus of 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' and after the defeat, Fernandes admitted they deserved such savage treatment.
"I include myself in that," he told Sky Sports. "What we did today, what I did today, was not enough to be in a Man Utd shirt and I accept it.
"The result is what it is. It is not good enough. They outplayed us. They always had a solution. Pressed us better and they deserved the result.
"A little bit of everything [went wrong]. Quality. Mentality. They deserved to win, and we deserve to be in the position we are in now.
"It's something that we have to look at and be embarrassed about because that was not good enough from us and we have to do much better."
