Bruno Fernandes appeared to label his Manchester United teammate Fred a magician after the Brazilian produced some Selecao magic in the pre-season opener against Liverpool.
Getting down to business in Bangkok on Tuesday afternoon, United were convincing winners as Erik ten Hag celebrated a comprehensive victory during his first game. Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, Fred and substitute Facundo Pellistri were all on target.
Of course, the 4-0 win will not give United an advantage in their Premier League charge, but the manner of their performance was enough to lift supporters and their newly appointed manager. Ten Hag and his squad move onto Australia next before completing their pre-season tour in Norway.

Several players caught the eye for United at the Rajamangala Stadium on Tuesday afternoon UK time - as Sancho and Martial conjured stylish finishes for their goals - but it was Fred who stole the show when it came to individual brilliance.
Presented an opportunity through sloppy Liverpool defending, Fred picked his moment - and spot - to lob Alisson from 20 yards and send watching supporters into raptures. It sparked a frenzy on social media, too, with Fernandes getting in on the act after leading United to victory as captain in the absence of Harry Maguire.
Addressing his 2.3million followers on Instagram post-match, Fred uploaded several pictures from the game, while adding a short caption. It read: "A good way to start the pre-season. Thank God!"
Drawing thousands of likes and replies already, Fernandes also made his thoughts clear by replying to the Brazilian. He posted three top hat emojis and Fred was more than worthy of such an assessment.
