Bruno Fernandes says his Manchester United teammates need to "give something back" to the fans and be disciplined on the pitch ahead of the Liverpool match on Monday evening.
United play their bitter rivals at Old Trafford with a backdrop of a fan protest against the Glazer family's ownership of the club. It has been a miserable start to the new season for fans of the club as United lost their opening two Premier League matches, while only three signings have been confirmed by the Reds.
The imminent arrival of Casemiro will provide steel to Erik ten Hag's midfield. Fernandes played in both matches against Brighton and Brentford and knows that the club need to put in a much better performance as they take on Jurgen Klopp's side. The United midfielder told the club's in-house media about how he sees the game as the perfect opportunity to breathe life into their new season.
