Chelsea have confirmed that Bruce Buck has stepped down as chairman after 19 years at the club.
The American has been a central figure at Stamford Bridge since his appointment in 2003, but leaves at the end of the month following the departure of owner Roman Abramovich.
The New York-born lawyer, 76, advised Abramovich during his 2003 purchase of the Blues, and was ultimately appointed to the board by the Russian billionaire.
