The Cleveland Browns will reportedly have wideout Amari Cooper for Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Cooper, who is questionable with a rib injury and a concussion this week, reportedly cleared the concussion protocol, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

He exited the Browns’ Week 13 clash with the Los Angeles Rams early in the first quarter and was later ruled out with a concussion.
Cooper’s availability is huge for whoever the Browns start at quarterback this week. Head coach Kevin Stefanski hasn’t decided yet, but Dorian Thompson-Robinson cleared concussion protocol ahead of this weekend’s game and the team promoted Joe Flacco to the active roster again. Cleveland also waived third-string quarterback P.J. Walker.
The veteran wideout has had an up-and-down season as the Browns have deployed for different quarterbacks. Cooper has caught 50 receptions for 799 yards and two touchdowns in his second season with Cleveland. The yards are first on the team, but the receptions and touchdowns are second.
This should also alleviate defensive pressure on fellow wideout Elijah Moore and tight end David Njoku, who have been the Browns’ other top-two pass-catchers this season. The Jaguars’ secondary ranks 30th in receiving yards allowed, meaning Cooper could have a solid outing if the Browns can get him the ball.
