The Cleveland Browns have been listening to trade offers on running back Kareem Hunt this week according to The OBR’s Brad Stainbrook. And now today, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler stated the Browns are looking for a fourth round pick in exchange for the former rushing champion.
This is a solid value for a player who has not quite played well in 2022, is turning 28 years old at the position with the shortest shelf life, and is set to become a free agent in 10 games. That value, however, might be too high given the context just outlined.
At 2-5 on the season, the Browns are wise to field calls on expiring contracts currently on their roster.
