It has not been pretty for the Cleveland Browns and quarterback Joe Flacco today against the Chicago Bears. However, with just three minutes left in the game, Flacco found a way to connect with wide receiver Amari Cooper for his second touchdown pass of the game to lock the game up at 17 apiece.
The big play came on a 51-yard catch and run as Flacco was able to connect with Cooper on a crosser. Cooper reeled it in along the boundary, was able to make a defender miss, and then had green grass in front of him. With that catch and run, Cooper went over 100 yards receiving on the day, sitting with 109 yards on four catches.
Flacco has struggled in this game, sitting with three interceptions, but he continues to find ways to fight back. He now sits with 309 yards and two touchdowns on the day outside of those three turnovers.
Can the Browns find a way to pull out another ugly win?
