The Cleveland Browns are looking for a significant bounce back at home after dropping two in a row on the road. And as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and a hobbled Trevor Lawrence, the Browns get out to a fast start. On the opening drive of the game, quarterback Joe Flacco found tight end David Njoku deep for a touchdown to cap off a stellar series.
All in all, Flacco finished the drive four-of-four for 66 yards and a touchdown. The drive-capping strike to Njoku was for 34 yards on a well-designed play-action attack from head coach and play-caller Kevin Stefanski. Running back Jerome Ford added nine yards on two carries but also caught two passes for 18 yards on the opening series as well.
The Browns already have the ball back as well as the defense held the Jaguars to just three plays on their opening drive of the game. Can the Browns take the ball down the field again and put the Jaguars far behind their schedule?
