Defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey is in more hot water as he gets set to enter just his second season with the Cleveland Browns. Charged with assault on a woman, this adds to the list of issues he has faced since being selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. According to Cleveland dot com’s Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns are “aware of the situation and are gathering more information.”
It is hard to imagine Winfrey has much of a leash left with the organization after a rocky rookie season that resulted in a suspension, benching and inactive streak, and more. There will be no shock if Winfrey is released by the Browns.
