On Thursday night at the NFL Honors members of the Cleveland Browns cleaned up winning all four awards that they were nominated for. They now turn their attention toward free agency and the 2024 NFL draft.
General manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski have started on the journey to improve in 2024 by first changing up the offensive coaching staff in hopes of becoming more dynamic and productive next year.
They have to add dynamic playmakers on the offensive side of the ball to get more explosive and vertical if they take the next step toward winning a championship. We have seen Berry get aggressive in adding playmakers before could this draft be one where he moves up and takes one of the talented wide receivers in this loaded class?
The foundation for success has been laid in Cleveland and things are better than they have been since the return adding a little more vertically to the offense could be what puts them over the top.

Browns receive: Round 2 Pick 35
Cardinals receive: Round 2 Pick 55, Round 5 Pick 138, 2025 4th Round Pick
Round 2 Pick 35: Tez Walker, WR, North Carolina
North Carolina’s Tez Walker had a bad Senior Bowl but when you turn on his tape you see a dynamic playmaker and exactly what the doctor ordered for Cleveland. At 6-foot-2, he has great length and accelerates quickly with his long strides and elite-level vertical speed.
Walker does a great job tracking the ball when it is in the year leading to creating explosive plays regularly. He has above-average body control and does a good job positioning himself to catch the deep ball.
Walker has a limited route tree and struggles with playing through contact but if he improves in those areas he has the makings of a high-quality player in the NFL.
Round 3, Pick 86: Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson
One of my favorite prospects in this year’s class is Ruke Orhorhoro who is one of the more versatile defensive linemen in this year’s class. The Clemson Tiger is very explosive on the line of scrimmage and does a good job moving laterally in run defense in addition to being a good inside pass rusher.
Orhorhoro plays with a high motor is good at the point of the attack and sets the edge as a run defender if you play him outside. He needs to work on his consistency and pass rush plan but at minimum, he should be a solid early-down run defender right away.
Round 5, Pick 159: Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State
Theo Johnson is a fun prospect at 6-foot-6 and nearly 250 pounds he has all of the makings to be a well-rounded tight end. The Browns will likely look to replace Harrison Bryant this offseason and Johnson is both a great blocker and a great athlete as a receiver.
Johnson is a good route runner with reliable hands that creates extra yardage after the catch. If you are looking for a player who has all the tools to be both a blocker and a dynamic playmaker if developed right Johnson is that guy.
Round 6, Pick 205: Brandon Coleman, OT, TCU
If you are looking for another massive human being at tackle you get just that with TCU’s Brandon Coleman. Coleman has great functional strength in the run game and has experience playing both left tackle and left guard at TCU. Mix in above-average athleticism if you can develop his technique and hand usage you could have a great swing tackle/guard adding depth to your offensive line
Round 6, Pick 208: Kenny Logan Jr., S, Kansas
It will be interesting to see what the Browns do at safety in free agency but drafting a guy like Kenny Logan Jr. makes a ton of sense. He has a ton of experience playing all over the field and could slide into the Rodney McLeod role over time. He played almost the same amount of snaps in the box as he did playing deep safety as well as some time in the slot.
Round 7, Pick 231: Jordan Magee, LB, Temple
Jordan Magee is a quality linebacker that makes plays regularly as a run defender and does a good job as a blitzer rushing the quarterback. He has the range and speed to at minimum be a quality special teamer. Coming from a smaller school it will be a jump for Magee but he has some fun physical tools to work with.
