The Chief is not expected to play against the Kansas City Chiefs as the Cleveland Browns will look for answers without tight end David Njoku.
Dealing with a hamstring injury, Njoku missed practice for the Browns on Wednesday. The Browns are not overly optimistic about his chances of getting back out on the practice field this week as Cleveland dot com’s Mary Kay Cabot has reported the team expects their star tight end to miss this Week 15 matchup against the Chiefs.
Coming off of a Pro Bowl season in 2023 where Njoku racked up 882 yards and six touchdowns on 81 catches, Njoku has followed it up with another solid season. This season, Njoku has 439 yards and five touchdowns on 56 catches. He now has three games left to continue to make a back-to-back Pro Bowl bid.
Njoku has been a team-first guy over the past half-decade and has even played through a high ankle sprain and severe burns over the past two seasons. If he cannot go in this game against the Chiefs, then he is truly feeling it in his hamstring.
