The Cleveland Browns are coming off of a season where they dealt with an unbelievable amount of injuries that somehow did not derail their season. And they have already been hit with a few through the first week of training camp, including defensive tackle Shelby Harris.
According to Cleveland dot com’s Mary Kay Cabot, the defensive tackle is dealing with an undisclosed injury and headed back to the team facility early from The Greenbrier to get it checked out.
Signing a new two-year deal with the Browns after a successful season as a rotational interior defender in 2024, the team and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will need his big man back. In the meantime, rookie Mike Hall Jr., who also missed a day of practice, will get plenty of opportunity to prove he can step up right away in Year 1.
With five weeks until the start of the regular season, the Browns and Harris still have plenty of time to get healthy. Besides, this isn’t Harris’ first rodeo as he enters his tenth NFL season.
