Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson held his annual 7-on-7 football camp on Wednesday, less than a week before training camp kicks off in Berea. Recently, a clip on social media showed running back Nick Chubb squatting over 500 pounds just eight months after knee surgery.
After the camp, Watson spoke with media members and said doubting Chubb was never a good idea.
“If you’ve been doubting Chubb I think you’re supporting the wrong organization.”
He makes a good point; with all the things fans have seen Chubb accomplish during his career, this video shouldn’t surprise you. Watson went on to talk about the culture in Cleveland and that doubting this organization should be a thing of the past.
The tide honestly seems to be changing in Cleveland, given the talent on this roster and the belief in the coaching staff’s ability to maximize it. The long wait for the return of Browns football is nearly over.
