The Broughty Ferry lifeboat crew have been caught up in a hilarious video of outtakes for a promotional film.
The volunteers were challenged by other UK crews to make a “pass the pager” film to highlight the amazing work they do.
They managed to pull together a series of workable clips for the final cut - but it’s the hilarious outtakes video that’s getting more attention.
In one clip, a crew member is seen wearing a Wonder Woman apron and nothing else apart from a white safety helmet.
In another, a colleague is filmed multiple times on a jetty, struggling to catch the pager properly.
While a third shows a volunteer in the back garden trying to hit the pager with a golf club.
RNLI crews across the UK are challenging each other to make the films.
They show a pager being passed from one person to another in different settings.
When they eventually completed their final version, RNLI Brought Ferry challenged colleagues in Poole and Arbroath.
Writing on the Broughty Ferry base Facebook page, a spokesperson said: “We recently showed our slick well produced #passthepager video and shared this around the coast.
“In keeping with our light hearted fun theme and being grateful to the crew for sharing these, please find our outtakes video.
“We hope it raises your spirits in these times and please do #staysafe.
And they added: “HUGE THANKS to the crew for agreeing to this, it epitomises their fun characters.
“Best enjoyed with sound.”
