Bros star Matt Goss will be coming to Manchester next month, to make a personal appearance at the Arndale.
The singer will be signing copies of his new album, called The Beautiful Unknown, at HMV on March 29 at 2pm.
Simon Winter, Events Manager at HMV and Fopp, said: “We’re excited to welcome Matt to our stores next month for meet and greets with fans.
“His new album promises to be an amazing listen for both loyal fans and new audiences.”
You can reserve a ticket for the signing - as long as you buy the new album too - from the HMV site here…
The appearance comes 22 years after Matt and Luke Goss brought the HMV on Oxford Street in London to a standstill in 1987.
5000 fans stormed the record shop at the peak of Bros-mania, causing two hours of chaos.
The Goss brothers, and their school friend Craig Logan, formed the band in 1986.
They scored eight top 10 singles, including hits like Drop The Boy - which went to number one - I Owe You Nothing, and When Will I Be Famous.
Logan quit the band in 1989, and the brothers continued as a duo until 1992, in all selling over 16 million records.
They came roaring back into the limelight, however, after reforming in 2016, the story of which was documented in the 2018 film Bros: After The Screaming Stops.
The film became a sensation when it was released on the BBC’s iPlayer, thanks in the main to its dozens of quotable lines from both Goss brothers.
The best lines from Bros: After The Screaming Stops
Matt: “The letters H. O. M. E. are so important because they personify the word home.”
Matt: “Everyone has to be on the same page otherwise you don’t get to turn the page. Because somebody gets left behind otherwise and then somebody has lost the page of the story which may be the key to the ending.”
Luke: “Once bitten, twice shy. Twenty times bitten, a little shy.”
Matt: “Please can we start a petition as Bros for this ridiculous thing where you can’t even play conkers, you have to wear goggles. That is the biggest problem…You can’t play conkers in England.”
Luke: “He was a rectangle and I was a rectangle and we made a square, which therefore is a fortress.”
Matt: “I made a conscious decision because of Stevie Wonder not to be superstitious.”
Matt: "Rome wasn’t built in a day. But we don’t have the time Rome had.”
