Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison will return to television as part of Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The 25-year-old will be joining a list of famous faces as she returns to television for the first time in years. She first shot to fame for her role as the fiery Emily Shadwick in the Liverpool-based soap opera.
Almost two decades after her first appearance on screen, Jennifer has signed up for the latest series of gruelling Channel 4 show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The competition sees celebs test their physical and mental strength as they attempt to pass the notoriously difficult SAS Selection.

The Brookside actress will join the biggest cast to date which includes Love Island winner Amber Gill, actress Maisie Smith and Pritchard brothers Curtis and AJ.
Television personality and son of George Best, Calum Best, TOWIE's Pete Wicks, Olympian Fatima Whitbread and former footballer Ashley Cain will also take part in the show.
Completing the lineup are reality TV star Ferne McCann, Olympian Dwain Chambers, boxer Shannon Courtenay and Paralympic high jumper Jonathan Broom-Edwards.
The show returns to Channel 4 in early September.
