Brooklyn Beckham shares Valentine's Day plans with Nicola Peltz ahead of wedding

Brooklyn Beckham is keeping his Valentine's Day plans top secret.

The wannabe chef, 22, was quizzed by James Corden about how he plans to celebrate the romantic day later this month.

Brooklyn - who is set to marry actress Nicola Peltz this Spring - gave nothing away during his cameo for a cooking segment on The Late Late Show on Monday night.

Making small talk as they battled it out to make the best steak, James quizzed Victoria and David Beckham 's eldest about his plans for Valentine's Day.

Speaking as they worked away in the pop-up kitchen, the Gavin & Stacey actor wondered: "So Valentine's Day is coming up Brooklyn, what are you going to cook for that, what's on the menu?"

"Whatever she wants," a cheeky Brooklyn replied, prompting the audience to gush over his seemingly sweet answer.

However, host James was having none of it.

"Don't 'awww' that, don't 'awww' that, he clearly has no idea and hasn't thought about it," the presenter joked with the cooing audience, making his celebrity guest chuckle too.

Brooklyn and Transformers actress Nicola were first romantically linked back in October 2019, shortly after the celebrity offspring's split from model Hana Cross earlier that year.

The pair went Instagram official in January 2020, going on to spend lockdown together in New York, as the rest of the Beckham clan isolated in the Cotswolds.

Brooklyn popped the question to the stunning model later that year and the loved-up pair are due to tie the knot in April.

Elsewhere during his appearance on the American talk show, Brooklyn offered a little more insight into his blossoming cooking career.

The former aspiring photographer also revealed dad David's favourite dish to cook himself in the kitchen - surprising many when it turned out not to be pie and mash.

"He loves risotto," Brooklyn confessed to James during their chat.

The food lover's appearance on the comedian's show seemed to go down a lot better than his cooking cameo on the Today show back in October.

The aspiring culinary star was roasted endlessly online, after appearing on the American breakfast TV programme to share his 'recipe' for a sandwich.

Despite joining Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly for a cooking segment, Brooklyn actually did very little cooking during his time live on-air last year - instead assembling a sandwich of pre-cooked meat.

The budding chef confessed that the recipe for the dish - which consists of bacon, sausage and egg sandwiched between two pieces of bread - is something that has been in his family for generations, and that he learned how to cook the butty thanks to his great-grandmother.

Piers Morgan joined in with the social media backlash after Brooklyn's brief cameo, tweeting a clip of the show and writing: "Worst, most unutterably pointless segment in morning television history?"
