Brooklyn Beckham's new wife said he felt under ''pressure to please'' people with his career choices — appearing to taking aim at her famous in-laws Posh and Becks.
The new Mrs Beckham inferred her husband's parents, former footy ace David, 47, and pop star turned fashion designer Victoria, 48, may have been part of the reason he pursued photography for so long before carving out a cookery career.
Speaking to Tatler Magazine, Nicola, 27, said Brooklyn, 23, said he had “a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it.”
Without naming the Beckham's in her slight slur she then told how Brooklyn found himself turning to her own father, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, for advice.
Nicola said: “Brooklyn is getting into very exciting things with his shows and also business things and it’s really sweet.
“I watch him call my dad and say, ‘What do you think about this?’ I love watching him learn from my dad.”
And the potential pop at the Beckham's comes after Brooklyn came under criticism for failing to praise his former pop star parent on social media on Mother's Day.
But the Beckhams meanwhile appear to be as close as ever and Victoria was seen leaving Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills with Brooklyn and Nicola last month.
The young couple tied the knot at a £3million wedding in April and have spent most of their time stateside with Nicola appearing to rule out a return to the UK.
Speaking to Tatler on living in London, she confirmed: “I would say ‘No’, but you never know. I love knowing I’m so close to my family.”
After their lavish wedding the pair hit the UK capital for Brooklyn's work but it appeared a shock to system for American beauty Nicola.
Taking to social media he penned: "Bring your wife to work day x she's not used to the English weather," he wrote alongside a snap of her trying to shelter herself from the rain.
But wherever they are living, the pair appear to be blissfully in love as Brooklyn told Nicola on social media recently: “I fall more in love with you every single day and I cannot wait to grow old with you.”
